I have never over indulgenced in Fad diets but now in my late thirties I am conscience that maintaining a consistent weight is getting harder. I loved this book, it felt like I could actually have been written for me as it reconfirmed my approach to food. I love food. I think it is one of life's pleasures to be enjoyed and as soon as I deny anything it obsess me so Mireille Guilano telling me that I can eat anything but I just cant eat everything made perfect sense to me! Her observations on exercise also made me smile, if you hate running, don’t run, you will never stick at it…I hate running! I do love pilates, riding my bike & walking my dogs though, so it has reminded me to spend more time doing this and less feeling guilty that I missed my spin class. It is an easy, lively read that reminds us of the importance of moderation & applying common sense to our diet, I throughly enjoyed it.
